ARE SMART DISPLAYS that you can wonder away from your desk with under your arm any good? Ian at Design Technica thinks that the air panel concept is just so much hot air.

Steve over at HardOCP is pretty impressed with the new Via P4PB Ultra. Especially that Via has managed to get Hyperthreading working without any help from Intel.

A long-time Apple Mac games development company has decided to start converting its stuff over to PC. Hardware Accelerated has an interview with Ambrosia Software and finds out all about it.

The ever fascinating letters page on Dan's Data is well worth a visit.

It looks great but looks aren't everything. Andrew likes the small form factor AMS gBox Blue. But it's not without its problems.

We have absolutely no idea what Hardinfo is on about other than it's something to do with the SIS Xabre II. But it's all written in Danish.

Viper's Lair has got a nice little comparative review up and, making a nice change on the roundup page, it's a sound card. A Chaintech AV-515M to be precise. It's cheap and quite good too according to Matthew over there.

Poor little SIS isn't doing so well over at AMDMB. They sort of like the SIS 746FX chipset because it's cheap. But they think the new 748 will be much better when it arrives.

Time for a quick comparison. Abit has launched a new version of its NF7 motherboard. Is v1.2 better than what has gone before? You can find out from TBreak and from Lost Circuits.

Most people would buy something after seeing a review. Not Scott over at eBabble. He couldn't find any reviews of the Antec SLK3700AMB case so he bought one to be the first to review it. ยต
