Brits rock with Core Duo T2700 notebook

Geforce Go 7900 GTX 512MB inside
Monday, 17 July 2006, 17:58
BRITISH company Rock is about to ship its Xtreme CTX T2700 notebook. It may be the first notebook with the Intel Core Duo T2799 and a cool Nvidia Geforce Go 7900 GTX 512MB inside. It is a massive 17-inch notebook and it will ship in two days time.

The suggested retail price is £1,499 ex value added taxi and this machine has a chance to be one of the fastest on the market. We are not sure how this machine measures against Turion 64 machines. If you want to know what is the price with the value added taxi you will have to burn some £1,761.33 squids.

If you care to spend an additional £49 ex Value Added Taxi, you will be able to get the WUXGA 1920x1200 X-Glass screen instead of standard one who is obviously smaller. The company normally uses 1680 x 1050 screen. The machine comes with Intel® Core Duo T2700 at 2.33GHz with 667MHz FSB and 2MB cache memory. It is equipped with 1GB of DDR 2 memory working at 667 MHz, Geforce Go 7900 GTX 512 MB, 100 GB 7200rpm HDD, 8X Dual Layer DVD, Gigabit LAN, 802.11 1/b/g wireless and Bluetooth, caring case and three year of collect and return warranty.

You can also get this notebook with ATI Radeon X1600 PRO and Geforce 7900 GTX 256 MB cards both cheaper than the 7900 GTX 512 MB. The notebook weighs about 3.8 kilos. µ
