LCD glass goes to Beijing

GLASS FIRM Corning said it's opening an LCD glass finishing factory in mainland China, and warned there was more
of this to come.
It would not say how much money it's investing or whether it had received financial assistance from the Beijing Ecomonics Technological Development Area.
But it did say that it had talked to multiple councils and other authorities before plumping for Beijing.
It also warned that historically i had been first "in the LCD producing regions in which the company operates, beginning with glass finishing". Where there's an LCD substrate finishing factory, expect to see LCD fabs. µ
