SONY HAS let loose a new online venture which will make available all the latest Blu-ray content.

The site, dubbed MMG Venue standing for Music, Movies and Games, is set in a virtual city with various places you can go to depending on what you're after: a supposed jazz cafe for full length Blu-ray artist music videos, for example.

You can also take a car from Sonyville to the gaming section which boasts the latest PS3 games in full HD. There are films and stuff too. Also included is a "Museum of Low Resolution" to show you just how incredibly amazing Blu-ray is and what's led up to what Sony probably reckons is its finest hour.

Have a look for yourself here, though in this hack's most humble opinion, the whole thing reeks of trying too hard and it's essentially just another flash website. µ
