In fact, the episode spawned the creation of a new in-game item based on one of the unique items depicted in the show.
The episode pleased WoW fanboy, despite the few inaccuracies - such as a Mage wearing plate armour (everyone knows Mages can't wear plate armour, duh) and other such heinous crimes.
Whether or not South Park can win out against The Simpsons and Spongebob Squarepants remains to be seen, but it's a sure indication that World of Warcraft has gone about as mainstream as it's possible to get - it's going to Hollywood. ยต
