Instant mobile avatar for the lazy arrives

THE IDEA of creating a social network where participants can still retain a degree of anonymity by hiding behind an avatar is clever. But some people are obviously too lazy to create on.

So Gofresh has come up with a solution – a widget that intelligently configures an avatar for you. The widget uses key data such as age, gender, location, and keywords to build the avatar.

The first version allows up to 10 million possibilities of combination. It's been designed to work with Gofresh's own mobile social network – Itsmy.com.

The widget will make its first appearance on Itsmy on February 1^st but Gofresh hopes to make it available for other social networks by Q2 2008.

Information is taken from a user's mobile homepage address or an external data source and even a user name can be integrated.

Gofresh iss obviously hoping that this widget will encourage even more people to join its social network. At present it has over one million registered mobile users and around million mobile content pages.

Rather modestly Gofresh claims this makes Itsmy.com the world’s biggest mobile social ad-network and mobile advertising rich media platform. Plus it says is the 'stickiest' mobile community.
