Foxconn shapes up to grab graphics card market

BACK at CeBIT we told you that the mighty Foxconn is about to enter the graphic business. It wants to do its own branded cards and to compete with its current customers.

We spoke with many Nvidia partners who are terrified of such a fearsome competitor. And we know that Foxconn wants to do ATI cards as well. Remember Foxconn makes most of the graphic cards available on the market, especially the high end ones.

We learned that the company wants to present its cards at Computex and to start shipping them at later date. Digitimes believes that the cards will come in August. µ
