Vista a 'threat' to the national security of India

Never trust a Vole

MICROSOFT'S UP AND COMING Vista could well be the world's most expensive piece of spyware, reckons this blogger.

Apparently, the Vole's latest effort will have strict anti-piracy measures in place that will wreck a machine with an unlicensed copy. Not only that, but Microsoft will have access to all of your data through this anti-piracy system.

As Mr Bombay Watcher says on his blog, Microsoft has a cosy partnership with the CIA, so perhaps the world should take care and caution when it comes time to upgrade. We're pretty certain Windows 3.1 would be a safe bet. He seems particularly worried about the national security of India, as it does, of course, have some conflicting interests with the US of A.

Then again, what can you expect from a program called Windows? Most windows I've come across are fairly easy to look through and not at all opaque. Maybe it's time for some curtains, Microsoft. ยต
