OF COURSE the big new is the announcement of the iPhone but as it will be many months before we get our hands on one, we'll have to distract ourselves by staring at a range of other goodies.

First up is the Rbmods review of the Coolermaster Itower 930 case. The lack of removable motherboard tray can make the initial installation a pain but the other features, like hot swappable S-ATA module make it a good looking choice for either a desktop or possibly even an HTPC.

Meanwhile Virtual-Hideout brings us the OCZ 2x1GB PC2-9200 Flex XLC DDR2 Memory Review. These water-cooled memory modules provide some of the best performance available but we reckon you've got to be a pretty keen little bean to pay that much and go through that much hassle for memory.

You can imagine our disappointment when we discovered that the AMDZone XFX GeForce 8800 GTX XXX Edition Review wasn't aimed at optimising your left handed website experience, but this video powerhouse does come overclocked out of the box and with a curiously named double-lifetime warranty, what ever that is.

PC Perspective has given us a quick run down on the recently announced AMD ATI TV Wonder Digital Cable Tuner - HDTV for the PC, but with Vista as a requirement and all the other DRM issues surrounding HDCP it'll be interesting to see how this all pans out.

Legion Hardware asks the question ' Overclocking - Is it worth it'? More and more vendors are making it easier to overclock components by reducing the complications and by making recovery easier and reducing the potential for dead hardware, but when you compare the level of power in today's PCs and the average requirements of most users you have to wonder if it's necessary.

Bjorn3d has reviewed the VIZO Igloo Self-contained Water Cooling Heatsink and according to the battery of tests performed it performs pretty much identically to the stock cooler so you have question its function.

PlanetX64 has been busy with the Water Cooled Shuttle Project whereby the guys managed to successfully integrate water cooling into a Shuttle PC, which are notoriously compact to begin with.

If you're worried about losing the precious collection of data you've amassed over the years then you'll want to check out TweakTowns Data Backup Guide - Online and Hardware Solutions Examined which takes a close look at the various technologies available to protect your stash of music, movies and 'erotic art'.

Madshrimps has reviewed the Spire RocKeteer IV 600W SLI Ready Power Supply which looks to be yet another pretty solid contender to add to your list of potential candidates if you're looking for something to power your dual GPU gaming PC.

ChileHardware has some rather technical information on ATI's upcoming northbridge chipset in the RD790 reference designs, so if you can make sense of all the technical tables and want to know what we can expect from the next generation of chipsets then go have a gander. ยต
