Gainward shows off 7900 GTX/GT

CeBIT 2006: Ready, up and running
Friday, 10 March 2006, 18:31
GAINWARD is among the companies that have 7900 GTX 512MB and the slower 7900 GT cards ready. The design is final - the cards should be in stores any day now.

7900 GTX has a standard heat pipe cooler and it runs even cooler than it used to before. The card runs at 650 MHz now but it can get to 700 MHz as well, you just need to overclock.

7900 GT uses a Nvidia recommended standard cooler that doesn't cool the memory. But obviously the memory doesn't get that hot anyway. We don't know about the price of these cards. There are a bunch of them at Gainward's booth. Here is how they look.
