Three Sapphire dual 1950 cards get showing

CeBIT 007 And more white news
Saturday, 17 March 2007, 11:23
WE TOLD YOU about the white motherboard yesterday, but that was only half the Sapphire CeBIT story.

The other parts are the dual 1950 cards.

First off, a few little bits more on the 'white' board, also known as the sexily named PI-AM2RS690MHD, which rolls off the tongue like cinderblocks off a duck's back. Sapphire basically used all the options available on the chipset here, it left nothing out.

Normally, this means a backplate stuffed with everything imaginable and then leaving some things out due to board area. Sapphire made a sensible backplate and then included enough brackets to choke a horse. It even put in a DVI riser card, so if you want any specific mix of ports, this will probably do it for you.

Next we come to the draw of the Sapphire booth at CeBIT, the dual 1950 cards. These had been talked about before, but they were up and running in a 2x2 config for 4 GPUs in a system. These shots are the geek equivalent of cheesecake photography, three dual cards in one frame..... Enjoy. ยต
