Bogger off, Microsoft bogger says

Shutdown, shut up
Mon Dec 04 2006, 08:31
A MAN WHO used to work for Microsoft and moaned in his bog about shut down systems on Voleware wishes he'd never put pixel to page.

Moeshe Lettvin is upset at the amount of attention his scribblings have attracted worldwide and said that if he had foreseen the interest his thoughts had attracted he'd never have written at all.

Business Week devoted a full two pages of pixellated matter to the fact that there's not really any way of switching off a Vista based PC properly.

But Moeshe fears he's upset his old mates at the Vole who might see his thoughts on shut down as a "rant against Microsoft".

After 12 years of enduring nasty, vindictive and curse-ridden snottograms from loyal and disloyal readers, we can only sympathise with you Moeshe. But never forget the epigram which oft times appears on the INQ front page by Latin bloke Juvenal: "The itch to scribble affects many". µ
