Sendo Z100s hit by further delay

"Legal problem" stymies developers

The-undoubtedly-very-handsome-looking-sendo-z100 SOFTWARE ENGINEERS WAITING FOR early adopter developers kit for Sendo's long awaited and just as long delayed Z100 "Smartphone" have been told they're just going to have to wait before they can start creating marvels on the handset.

The Z100, which was originally supposed to ship ever so long ago, is now slated for a July, an August or a September release and that's whichever date takes your fancy, we suspect.

The developers were sent a strange e-massage from Sendo along the following lines just yesterday:

"I am pleased to inform you that your order is ready for dispatch from our Netherlands site. Unfortunately due to a legal issue, delivery of your shipment has been placed on hold.

"We expect that this matter will be resolved very shortly, and shall be forwarding your Z100 developers kit to you as soon as this is the case.

Kind Regards

Sendo"

Exactly what "legal issue" could be preventing British people from getting the developers' kit is a mighty puzzle to both them and to us.

But as it's the fourth of July today, we suspect that a July release of the very attractive Z100 is way out of the question.

We'll let you know when Sendo lets us know... µ
