UK Guardian's praise of Firefox invokes pop up

THE GUARDIAN is a British, sorry really English, broadsheet and given to lofty pronouncements on its editorial page. So we were amused to read last Wednesday that it thoroughly approved of Firefox.

Some pompous individual wrote here that the Grauniad thoroughly approved of the way Firefox keeps out "irritating popups".

How ironic. Here's an "irritating popup" we just captured with our PC photography snapping apparatus, searching for the story and finding the "leader" above.

Still, we haven't detected any sign of those double underlined green advertising things that some "august" sites have, so perhaps there really is a line drawn in the sand between editorial and advertising on the G spot.

Or maybe the G has moved to Windows XP SP2, which also has a popup blocker? µ
