A BUG IN GOOGLE, now apparently fixed, allowed outsiders to remove web sites.

According to several reports, one of the first sites to suffer from the flaw in Google's page removal system was www.microsoft.com.

Once the flaw was discovered, adobe.com got the treatment as well, but we understand the hole has now been fixed.

It allowed webmasters to request Google to remove home pages of web sites with neither an index.htm or an index.html page. µ
