Dragon compo winners be here

What you love and hate about The INQ

Competition Winners

I'd like to say a big thank-you to the people who entered the competition to win a copy of the latest version of Nuance's Dragon NaturallySpeaking speech recognition software and, upon being asked to name the best feature of The INQ, nominated this writer's classy prose.

I'd like to thank those people but unfortunately nobody listed that as a reason DESPITE the fact that I organised the whole thing off my own back with little to no help from anybody else bar Gino at NSPR.

Ah well, loads of you mailed in to cadge the swag. You said you liked the fast news, fast page loading, irreverent attitude, top-of-page quotation and that sort of thing.

You bleated about the tiled home page, mid-page ads, obsession with Everywhere Girl, paltry weekend coverage, fanciful jargon and almost total absence of correct spelling or grammar checking. The last of these complaints represents a bit of a nerve by the way, considering the semi-literate nature of some of your mails.

We're filing your comments in our CRM system a.k.a. the Time Capsule.

Marian, Youssof99, Dondro, Jamal and Elsapon are the winners -- we'll be in touch.

Congratulations all. ยต
