AMD opens architecture lab

RICH WITEK is to run an architecture and technology lab for AMD.

Witek is AMD's chief architectural officer and his job will be to build up a team of around 40 people to gaze into the future.

Witek worked on ARM, Alpha and the Power PC. µ
