AMDBOARD got its hands on an AMD K8 Socket 939. Just the socket. It's pictured here, with the blank where pin 940 might have been.

OCWorkbench got one too. In fact they've got a whole ECS KV2 board. It's based, on the yet-to-be-released VIA K8T800Pro chipset and there's just the one pic so far, here.

Meanwhile, the Madshrimps overclock an Athlon XP2000+ to see if there's life in the old dog yet. They manage to crank one up to 3000MHz, over here.

The TechReporters have a fiddle with Seagate's second generation Serial ATA drive, the Barracuda 7200.7 over here.

i4u.com has reviewed a watch. It comes with MSN Direct and tells the time apparently .

On HardwareHelix there's a look at a cooling 'solution' for the Athlon 64. Beer? Nope. Water? Nope. In fact its a TaiSol CEK806181 heatsink. Not a solution at all then, over here.

They've been mucking about with Painkiller too. Not too many at once now.

On 3dPlanet Now, the Jungs compare a couple of natty ATi implementations, putting a GeCube Radeon 9600 XT Extreme up against an HIS Excalibur Radeon 9800 XT. Grab your German dictionary and head here.

A 'capable' Corsair TwinX PC4400 DDR550 Dual Channel Memory Kit gets a workout at Tweaknews. That's here.

The HardwareZoomers fiddle about with an LG 8X Super Multi DVD Rewriter over here.

XtremeSystems chill out with the nVentiv MachII cooling system here.

Our Grunting friends dribble all over an Albatron PX865PE Pro II board over here.

There'a look at ThermalRight's SP-97 Heatpipe Cooler in the Overclocker Cafe, just about here.

And the Spodeling finds out where to stick a Lian-Li Temperature Probe here.

The stupidly named Enermax Noisetaker 475W PSU gets a going over down at Bit-Tech here. It's just not the same there though without the promise of puntang.

And here comes a quick revist to some Prescottery. Sharky's Extreme puts the Pentium 4 3.2E up against a Pentium 4 3.4 Double E over 'ere.

There's an Italian perspective at HWUpgrade here.

Mr Masterfung Wolford offers his twopenn'orth here.

And MBReview joins the crowd here.

Along with Legit Reviews here.
