Thursday, 4 March 2004, 08:01
CHIPSET FIRM Silicon Integrated Systems (SIS), told us that 64-bit driver support is now available for its 755, 755FX and 760 chipsets. But for AMD64, not iAMD64, yet.

Drivers for IDE, AGP and LAN are included in the Vole's 64-bit OS beta, but SIS can also provide Serial ATA, audio and AGP for download, it said.

Michael Chen, president of SIS, said: "The AMD 64 bit processor promises to change the face of desktop computing".

The drivers are here. µ
