Digg denies buyout rumours

No bidding war, honest
Mon Mar 10 2008, 08:29

RUMOURS that Digg is about to be sold have been dismissed by CEO Jay Adelson.

It seems fairly likely that Google, Microsoft, and two media companies are queing up to make an offer on the social notworking site Digg.

Adelson said that normally his policy was to not comment about things like this. However he is getting a bit miffed about yarns about a bidding war involving Google and Microsoft.

He said that all that is completely inaccurate and any drama is a fabrication by the press. So that is all right then. µ
