FORMER HEAD OF Gizmondo Europe, Bo Stefan Eriksson, has been plonked in prison for three and a half years under embezzlement and drunk driving charges, reports The Beeb.

The bloke's home has been seized by coppers and he will be deported once his sentence is served. A police investigation into the crashing of Bo's Ferrari prompted the charges, to which Bo pleaded guilty.

Suspicions of Bo and the Gizmondo Gang have been around for a fair bit, as we at the INQ reported, a Swedish newspaper had published a series of articles last year that accused the management team of having criminal records.

According to Wired's exhaustive account, Eriksson, when apprehended, pretended not to have been driving the Ferrari Enzo he managed to cut in half. He also had some of his henchmen turn up posing as anti-terrorist officers in a bid to flee the long arm of the law. µ
