A FIRM FILED A PATENT infringement case against Microsoft and Adobe in the Tyler division of a Texas district court.

Aloft Media alleges that both Microsoft and Adobe have breached a patent called "Network browser graphical user interface for managing web content" and another patent Aloft said it owns.

The patent numbers are 7,117, 443 and 7,194, 691.

Adobe, claims the writ, infringes on these patents in products including Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Professional and Acrobat 3D.

Microsoft is alleged to infringe the patents in both Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Vista.

Aloft wants the usual remedies in these cases after a jury trial. µ
