Sam & Max ride again

Finally

I WILL NEVER forget my first experience while playing Sam & Max: Hit the Road, back in the early 90s.

When I saw first animation in the game, I laughed so hard that I leaned back on the chair just a bit too much, ending up on the floor with a broken chair and bruised pride (and back).

Nine years later, I prepared myself for arrival of Sam & Max: Freelance Police with a new chair. However, a month after my old-fashioned paper magazine ran a preview with exclusive pictures, LucasArts dropped the title.

Luckily for me, four years later the chair is still here and "Sam & Max: Episode 1: Culture Shock" just arrived on the game distribution channel GameTap. Worldwide release is set for November 1st, and the developer has promised to put out new content in the next six months, basically an episode per month.

All in all, if you like comedy in games, this one is hard to miss. µ
