JAPANESE FIRM Docomo and McDonald's are plunging ¥300 million into a scheme to let you buy your burgers using your mobile phone.

Nikkei.net said McDonald's is putting 70 per cent of the dosh into the scheme. Japanese punters eager to sink their gnashers into a Big Mac pay for the grub by touching their mobile phones on terminals inside the fast food outlets.

Payment for a double fries and a quarter pounder will then be shown on your next mobile phone bill. It's an extension of Docomo's ID payment scheme. µ
