Gigabyte introduces Athlon 64 boards, slate of PC products

MAJOR TAIWANESE manufacturer Gigabyte has announced a mass of products it will show off at next week's Computex show.

Described as a "complete product line" for the channel, the products include boards for Intel and AMD chips, graphics cards, and wireless products.

The company said its Pentium 4 Titan series will support 800MHz buses, hyperthreading, dual channel DDR 400 and USB 2.0.

And its AMD motherboards include Triton products for Athlon 64s and Athlons, including motherboards offering Nvidia Nforce 3 150 and Via K8T800 chipsets.

The graphics cards support various types of ATI Radeon chips, as well as an All in Wonder card.

Gigabyte will also introduce 802.11g wireless network products including access point, wireless routers, wireless LAN cards and a wireless LAN dongle with flash memory. It will also introduce a USB wireless module for mobos and a Bluetooth adaptor for printers.

The firm will also introduce two optical drives - a DVD Dual and a Multimedia DVD-ROM. The GO-W0404A supports 4X DVD+W, DVR+RW/2X DVD RW and other "standards". µ
