Abit launches Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI mobo

The first with Nforce 650i
Thursday, 8 February 2007, 17:09
ABIT is going to be among the first to introduce an Nforce 650i motherboard. It supports Quad core CPUs and SLI and it is made by the Johnathan Wendel aka Fatal1ty specification. At least Abit has the right to use his name for this hardware.

The board supports FPS 1066MHz and its SLI graphics work at 2x 8X PCIe mode due to the chipset limitation. The good news is that 2x 8X is not much slower than 2x 16X. The board officially supports Dual Channel DDR2-800/667/533, but with overclocking the Jedec specification you should be able to hit even more.

This is an overclockers board with gamers in mind. It comes with 4 x SATA 3Gb/s RAID 0/1/0+1/5 and JBOD support, 7.1-Channel HD with optical S/P DIF Out, Up to 8 x Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports, Onboard Power On & Reset buttons and NVIDIA Gigabit Ethernet with FirstPacket marchitecture.

The board is enginnered by Abit and comes with silent cooling, Japanese capacitors and solid state caps. You can find some more details here.
