Nvidia fixing Nforce 2 driver glitch

JUST A FEW HOURS after we wrote about problems with the Nvidia detonator driver, which caused a slow down on machines I tested, Nvidia realised there was a problem and reacted swiftly.

Friends tell us that Nvidia has posted the new drivers here, and Nvidia silently confirmed that there is something wrong with its IDE driver since it stated that "May 22 update: removed Nforce IDE driver in the 2.42 kit "

We can imagine that the busy driver developers are trying to find out what is happening with Nforce 2 IDE driver as we speak.

Nvidia still doesn't speak to us but at least it listens, which means a lot to us, and we're glad we've helped the whole world get that little bit better. µ
