Mitsubishi faces SRAM probe too

Cypress not the only one
Mon Oct 16 2006, 11:06
MITSUBISHI SAID it has received a subpoena from the US Department of Justice, just like Cypress Semi did last week.

The DoJ wants information about the sales of SRAM in the US as part of an investigation it's started.

Mitsubishi span off its SRAM business to Renesas in April 2003, but still holds a 45 per cent interest in the firm.

Mitsubishi said it wasn't able to predict the effect the subpoena might have on its business performance. ยต
