Dell catches dose of HP flu

A LOCAL NEWSPAPER said Dell cancelled its plans for a Yule blow out and will lay off 230 people at its UK offices.

According to the local Bracknell newspaper, staff were told that their annual jamboree has been canned, and job cuts instead will be the dish of the day.

Figures of those who may leave include 180 people at its Cain Road HQ, and another 50 may get their Christmas box from the Milbanke House offices, according to the report.

The newspaper, here, has a Dell rep saying the firm was "making adjustments".

The Dell HQ in Bracknell is right next to the HP HQ in Cain Road. Let's hope it's not a dose of flew Dell's caught. µ
