AMD accused of Powerpoint blizzard

Puma a toothless paper tiger?

TAIWANESE WIRE Digitimes has made an astonishing attack on X86 underling AMD, accusing it of doing a "fine job" releasing press releases and Powerpoint slides, but not delivering real products to back up its claims.

According to the site, all the features that AMD announced last week about its Puma tech make it questionable whether the reality of products will match the hype.

It reckons that the blizzard of pre-announcements could end up meaning will give Intel another year ahead for notebooks.

Poor little AMD. Just a couple of weeks ago, it came under attack from shareholders because it wasn't giving enough advance information. µ
