Intel falls by $2.65, AMD rises

Analysts hide under their desks

AMD'S SHARE price rose by 83 cents to $33.69 after the markets opened today, while Intel (tick: INTC) fell by $2.65 to stand at press time at $22.87.

Intel figures and projections which it released after the close of play last night are undoubtedly the reason for the fall.

The results confounded a number of high flying Wall Street financial analysts who no doubt are explaining to their clients the reasons they had for being bullish about Intel last week. µ
