FINNISH BROADCASTING Company YLE is considering complaining to US courts about the use of its material on Google's new toy, YouTube.

According to the firm's new service, YLE's Director of Corporate Affairs, Jussi Tunturi, said the company wants to open discussions with YouTube, but he did not rule out the possibility of action in a U.S. court.

Tunturi claimed that many postings on the site were illegal and suggested that Google's acquisition of should make it easier to settle the matter, since he considers Google a large company that operates according to the terms of contracts, the site noted.

Chances are that many other broadcasters in many other corners of the globe are having similar thoughts right around about now. µ
