The Powercolor AX480A-GF motherboard is on test at Techniz.co.uk. It is actually one of the cheapest socket 939 mothrboards out there. On top of that it offers the best integrated graphics performance by far on any platform. Features and specs match more expensive boards despite lacking SATA II support, but you do get SPDIF in and out. If you want something better, you will have to pay significantly more money.
Cooltechzone reviews the Samsung YP-MT6V MP3 player. And the Korean giant isn't mucking about. With more than 40 hours battery life, impressive sound quality and more than adequate finish, it should be near the top of your list, especially at the price.
French website Clubic tests the AGP version of the ATI X800XL. This dark horse promised to make nVidia's mid range players sweat but while its performance is more than adequate, the fact that it does not support Shader 3.0, that it does not overclock that well and that it comes just too late.
Anandtech explores the pros and cons of the DSC-M1 which is a dual function digital camera from Sony which uses MPEG4 compression for video in addition to a 5MP digital camera model. The video mode is exceptional from Anandtech point ot view while the stills are not to Sony's high standard. The competition though should make Sony rush an updated version soon.
MVKtech reviews the Mushkin HP3200 Redline DDR400 memory modules which target overclockers by over volting the RAM to extreme levels. As one might ,expect, the REDLINE memory modules prove to be the perfect match for the DFI LAN Party series of motherboards with ultra tight timings of 2-2-2-8 and above 250MHz speeds.
