Gigabyte intros ATI-based Pentium 4 board

TAIWANESE MOBO firm Gigabyte said yesterday it has released the Pentium 4-based Titan 8TRS300M.

The board uses the ATI RS300 integrated graphics chipset, and includes support for 800MHz front side buses, hypethreading and DDR 400.

The 9100IGP includes 3D features such as Smartshader, which uses DirectX 8.1, as well as Hypez to render high res images and 3D acceleration.

The board also includes 10/100 Ethernet, six channel AC97 audio, and USB 2.0 support. It will also take external graphics card because of the AGP8X slot.

Gigabyte gave no details of pricing on the motherboard. µ
