Gainward will fix Pink Screen of Death cards quickly

If there are any, that is

THE INQ reported last week that some New Zealand people and others had some problems with their Gainward cards, here, and we reported that we have a solution for the guys and gals who keep seeing pink.

I tested this card personally, and use it in one of my systems and haven't got any problems with the card even using their fancy glasses with it. And yes, you can be sure that I overclocked the card as well.

We have some fugues about Gainward sales and we are talking about serious numbers here. Gainward claims its RMA rate is less than 0.5 per cent which sounds more than all right to us, almost perfect.

Almost perfect means that out of 200 cards, one card might ship and give you Pink Screens of Death (PSOD) problems.

If you have a failed card, and you're in Europa, all you or your distributor need to do is to contact Gainward and the company will fix your card in 72 hours, courtesy of PSOD Medicare (we made that bit up).

Gainward has just opened a repair centre in Muenchen which has a facility to swap out broken graphics processors or broken BGA (ball grid array) memory.

Gainward said it cares a lot about its customers. So if you are in Europe and you have a Gainward card making you see pink, you can get it repaired very soon and easily.

If you're in New Zealand, we must confess we haven't a clue what you're supposed to do. Sorry. ยต
