ABIT IS KNOWN for making good overclocking boards, and they hire some of the best OCers to show off their prowess every Computex. This year, they had Fugger and Crotale back once again making lots of smoke.
$20 if you show my good side
As we said earlier, the goal was 6.0GHz, and Fugger did it hitting 6.07GHz. The board was a voltage modded Abit X38 QuadGT and he hit it on a 449MHz bus with a C0 step 9650.
The next big rig
After the main goal was achieved, it was on to the new stuff, the X48-based Tigerforce board. This board brings digital PWMs to the mix, described as 'very strong' by an unnamed overclocker doing demos at the Abit booth. This one was not modded, so no 100 per cent OCs, but it should be one of the boards to look at in the near future. µ
