Battery uses urine to power devices

CELLULAR NEWS reports boffins from Singapore have created a paper battery which can use human urine.

The battery can produce a voltage of 1.5 volts at 1.5mW. It works by putting .2ml of urine on paper soaked in copper chloride between layers of magnesium and copper.

The batteries can be used for biochip systems in rural areas or for home use. More here. µ
