Gigabyte hops on low-cost PC bandwagon

GIGGLEBYTE plans to launch a low-cost PC in June, company vice president, Richard Ma, revealed.

According to Digitmes the cheapo box will be based on an Intel platform, with a weee (cough!) 7- to 9-inch screen.

The outfit will manufacture the machines itself. So far there's no word on what OS it'll be running. We're pretty confident it won't be Vista though.
