THE WORLD OF Warcraft fan site Wowhead have been flogged to an advertising outfit called Affinity Media for a million real dollars.

Affinity used to own a virtual gold dealing outfit IGE but flogged it a few weeks ago. Affinity Media also owns Thottbot and Allakhazam, so with Wowhead bought, it now has its paws on all three of the WOW major databases.

WOW bogs seem more concerned about the fact that Affinity was involved with "Gold dealers" than the fact that all their personal details have been sold to an advertising company.
