US soldiers banned from using Youtube

THE DEPARTMENT OF Defense (DoD) said it will stop military personnel from accessing Youtube, Myspace and other high traffic sites.

According to Associated Press, the DoD is blocking access because use of the services is slowing down its own networks.

The report said that there's a propaganda war going on at Youtube, with both the US military and rebels posting videos on the site.

The ban only applies to machines connected to the DoD networks. µ
