NEVER ONES TO LET a major graphics launch go by without breaking out the CAD-powered drill, the folks at Aqua-Computers have announced their swanky new G200-fitting waterblock.
Aqua-computer is well known as being the Rolls Royce of watercooling kit - something about the German precision, we'll wager - and this new block, called the AquaGrafx GTX 280, seems to be no exception.
Made from copper that's been CNC'd to within a millimeter of its life, the whole thing weighs a chunky 660g and is made from a block of copper roughly 2.2kg in weight. The cooling channels are 20mm broad, and the block covers the GPU, video chip, RAM and voltage regulators, meaning it should be a doozy when it comes to overclocking.
You can see a pick of the bad boy just here.
Those looking to pick one up can hit their local reseller around the 25th of June, assuming they've got 95 Euros in spondoolicks. µ

""Rolls Royce"..."German precision"?
Erm, bad analogy there. Rolls is a British brand.
"

Erm.. used to be. Rolls is now owned by BMW, (and Bentley is owned by VW), so the analogy is spot on...
INQ Editor to writers:
When you have nothing to report, write crap:
Writers:
Yes Sir°
Editor: That doesn´t count for you Wily,
you always write crap.

P.S. Please include under the main title of an article (where the comment and the date/time is located) the name of the author, so i can stop wasting my bandwith on this kind of crapö

As a CNC programmer, I can tell you if they only used precision to 1mm, it would leak like water hose.
EVGA launched their HC16 Watercooled GTX280 on the 16th June.
BFG already is available with water-cooling.

single slot too by the looks of it.
yah bad info a US company DangerDen was the first to offer a water cooler for the 280 and the 260. You should post an apology for this to DangerDen and your readers and take down this article. guy in second post dd and coolit both launched on the 18 yes but dd is located in organ and coolit in florida time difference would put DD at the first release. besides dd also had a prototype working on the 6th. we wouldn't know about coolit because they don't post
Not sure why an article from June 20th would mention someone being first for an item for a product that was launched at the beginning of the week but CoolIT Systems as well as other companies have certainly had the waterblock and liquid cooling solutions available since before launch and announced them shortly after the official release time. I think this would make all of us first.
DD was the first to offer water cooling for the GeForce 280 and 260. They started taking orders for thier "DD-Tieton for GTX280/260" earlier this week.
