THE FIRM THAT BANNED the INQUIRER form going to a press breakfast yesterday morning because we might find out something we didn't already know, has capped itself with its latest announcement.

It has notified the press of its June 11th USB 2.0 day when it will launch USB 2.0 chipsets including the 845G/E and 845GL with integrated USB support.

The forum, to be held at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown exciting San Jose, will be presided over by Jason Ziller, of Chipzilla, famous for standing next to a statue of Godzilla in Japan, as reported here earlier.

Nathan "Itanic" Brookwood and Martin "Dataquest" Reynolds will be on hand to give their views on how important converging technologies are.

Intel will show gazillions of new USB 2.0 products, and will no doubt proudly display their "Extreme Graphics", which we understand here at the INQwell are currently shivering graphics firms' timbers. µ
