Tom Cruise site shut by Scientologists

Too close to Holmes

LEGAL EAGLES for the Scientologists have succeeded in shutting down a site that takes the Michael out of one of its more famous followers, Mr Tom Cruise.

The site www.ScienTOMogy.info was run by kiwi Glen Stollery, who used it to store parody videos of Cruise. These included depictions of Cruise and his wife-to-be Katie Holmes in straight jackets and zapping telly host Oprah Winfrey with an electric current.

Apparently, it was not the videos that miffed the Scientologists. It was the fact that Stollery had cyber squitted on the trademarked Scientology name.

Stollery has agreed to shift his site away from the scienTOMogy.info name and put it elsewhere. He is keeping the name.
