INTEL WILL LAUNCH a Menlow Refresh platform in March 2009 before coming out with its next generation Mobile Internet Device (MID) platform Moorestown later on in the year.

According to Dodgytimes’ secret sauces in the MID industry, Menlow products or "Centrino Atom" products as they were once called will be getting a refresh to boost performance before Chipzilla brings the next-generation platform for MIDs and UMPCs to the table.

Chipzilla is rumoured to be adding three new members to its current Atom Z500 series CPU, including the Z550, the Z534 and the Z515. Clocked higher than 1.83GHz, 1.6GHz and 800MHz respectively, Intel also plans to pair both the Z550 and Z534 with the Intel SCH UP15W chipset. The Z515 will apparently be paired with the UL11L chipset. µ
