MANDRIVA LINUX CEO, François Bancilhon has blasted Ubervole Steve Ballmer in a red-hot missive posted on the Interweb.
Bancilhon accuses Uncle Vista of wading in waving the mighty dollar to scupper a deal between the little Linux outfit and the Nigerian government.
"What have you done for these guys to change their mind like this?," writes Bancilhon. "It’s pretty clear to me, and it will be clear to everyone. How do you call what you just did Steve, in the place where you live?"
In his bog, here, Bancilhon claims Mandriva had a deal with the government to supply a first batch of 17,000 Intel Classmate PCs with customised Mandriva Linux software.
But after a Volish offensive, the government sources said: "We shall pay for the Mandriva Software as agreed, but we shall replace it by Windows afterward."
Insiders denied reports the machines would now be branded Microsoft SpamStations. µ
and, unfortunately, I don't seem them changing any time soon. Hopefully the mainstream press will pick this up and run with it.
typo, or newly-coined Inquirism?
"Hey Steve, how do you feel looking at yourself in the mirror in the morning?"

Why would Ballmer have a mirror? He isn't visible in a mirror's reflection.
long live microsoft!
down with inferior linux !
Look at it this way: there will be a lot of frustrated phishermen in Lagos when their Voleware goes tits up & they are put on hold by Microsoft "support" in India.
"Why would Ballmer have a mirror? He isn't visible in a mirror's reflection"

Funniest thing I've seen in months.
Has anyone else noticed that Mandriva sounds a bit like mangina?
