Amazon has this deal about the Pixo Corion C700 17-inch LCD Monitor with speakers on sale for only $149.95 after $70 mail in rebate. It comes with free Supersaver shipping. Yes, it is probably the cheapest monitor around and you would do yourself a favour and buy two instead of a single 19-inch TFT. It is compatible with MAC and PC, has 1W stereo speakers. Cheap and dirty, just like we like them. Not far way, they have an Averatec AV3270-EE1 laptop, an even better deal than the one we looked at some days back from Geeks. This one features the Mobile Sempron 2800+ CPU, comes with 512MB memory, a large 60GB HDD, a DVD+/-RW drive and most importantly, a 12.1-inch monitor. At $857.99 after MIB, it includes WiFi, MS Works and a battery life of around 150 minutes. Powered by a VIA chipset with integrated video controller. PC Mag even has a 4.5/5 rating for it. Can't be that bad. Tweeter sells a Sony DCRDVD101 DVD handycam Camcorder for only $428 which can be slashed to $403 with a $25 rebate from Goodguys.com. Now that is damn cheap for a DVD-r camcorder, especially one from Sony. It has a large Hybrid Swivel screen, a 10x Optical zoom from Carl Zeiss coupled with a Super NightShot plus infrared system. Its CCD is a 1.0MP Advanced HAD which produces great details. It can also capture stills and be used as a mini external DVD writer thanks to its USB2.0 interface. Dell USA is flogging the Dell Inspiron 2200 laptop for only $582 after a 3% cash back rebate from Fatwallet. It is powered by an Intel Celeron M 360 - 1.4GHz, 1MB cache, 400MHz FSB and has 256MB memory, Windows XP HE, a one year standard warranty, a 14-inch XGA screen, a DVD/CDRW Combo, 40GB HDD plus a free Dell Color Printer 720. You also get as default an Internal modem and Network card. Newegg has the cheapest X800XL cards in the galaxy. The Rosewill X800XL RX8XL-256PX videocard is the one I'm talking about. It has a memory/core speed of 980/400MHz respectively. With HDTV, Svideo, DSub and DVI, it sure packs a lot for its price at only $269.99. Ideal for a budget minded gamer: this is the next FX5900XT. Can overclock to very high speeds. Use the following Promo Code CNETHELP1. It doesn't work for me just because I might be in the UK.

This should decrease the price to $259.99. The other card that caught my eye was the Gigabyte RX80L256V which has been reviewed some time back by Techreport. It is a silent X800XL with a passive cooler. It is a refurbished card and as such costs an incredible $254.40, almost too low to be true. µ
