Arrow Asia gets really arsy

Letter of Compliant Marketing Manager makes demands
Tuesday, 31 December 2002, 09:57
Dear Sir,

I am writing to complain your inaccurate information presentation on your website about the recent news of Arrow as a company. I now summarise your mis-information on the website as follows:

Here

1. Arrow is a listed company in NYSE not on Nasdaq You've wrongly mentioned that Arrow is a listed company on Nasdaq. In fact, we are a listed company in NYSE, trade as ARW.

2. Arrow did not acquired 2 companies in November in Taiwan. The two companies Arrow/Ally Inc. and Arrow Strong Electronics Co. Ltd. were acquired by Arrow back in 1995, we just renamed and unified these two companies and now called Arrow Electronics Taiwan Ltd. We held a press conference in Taiwan on December 18 briefing this news to most of the media in the industry. You can find the press release on our website.

I would demand you to remove this inaccurate news on your website immediate and also you have to make necessary announcement to correct your mis-information. Otherwise we will take necessary actions in pursuant your liability of mis-information to general public.

If you have any information, please don't hesitate to contact me at number below.

Best Regards,

Ray Leung
