LCD makers get patent writ from Honeywell

A GAGGLE OF FIRMS making LCD displays has received a writ from Honeywell alleging they breach a patent it has on "flicker free" displays.

The firms receiving the unpleasant package include Acer, AUO, Chungwha, Benq, Renesas and Denmos, according to the Taipei Times.

Honeywell wants oodles of cash it said in a filing. µ
