Google introduces forum comments to news stories

SEARCH LEVIATHAN GOOGLE will allow individuals to post comments to news stories it aggregates on its "Google News" beta site.

Google News, in case by some miracle you've missed it, takes headlines from thousands of news organisations and creates a frantic rush by hacks to copy other stories already written in a mad carousel which pumps and pimps up the volume.

The firm is engaged in an experimental system which will allow, say, Jock McFrock, the bekilted Scottish engineer, to comment on any story in which he appeared, once that is, his somewhat dubious identity was verified.

Say Amy Winehouse, for instance, wanted to comment on these stories about her being admitted to hospital, well she jolly well could.
