ALABATRON NEVER believed in reference coolers and it always liked to experiment with its own custom cooling. It's done so many times in the past.

It has just introduced PC6600 Ultra PCIe card cooled with heatpipe marchitecture. The Albatron uses 6600 standard chips to save some cost but uses a heatpipe to cool the card down and let you overclock it. It shipped the card overclocked to 350MHz while the standard 6600 works on 300MHz.

It comes with 128MB 2.8 ns BGA memory and Albatron claims that its performance comes close to 6600GT scores. It should run around 24 per cent faster than a standard 6600 card.

And the thing should be out soon. µ
